ボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟

ボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟は、２０２５年度第１回ボーイスカウト講習会の開催について、下記の通りお知らせいたします。
育成団体や初めて隊の指導者、団の指導者になられた方、これからなろうとなされる方、スカウトの保護者の方々、あるいはスカウト運動に興味を持たれた方など、より多くの成人の方々の受講をお待ちしています。

沖縄県連盟は、５月３日（土）、４日（日）の２日間、源河野営場整備作業を実施しましたが、伊敷元秀理事長
から、レポートが参りましたので、以下にご紹介いたします。
The Okinawa Council carried out maintenance work at Genka Campground for two days, on May 3 (Sat) and 4 (Sun).
We received a report from Council Chairman Mr. Ishiki, and would like to introduce it below.


第１日目の５月３日は、中央広場から第１、第２サイトへ至る丸太橋の傾きをユンボや人力で直して、横板を
張り替え、板の上に滑り止めの金網を取り付けました。
また、女性陣の活躍でその他長い板に防腐剤をぬり、研修棟に運びました。
On the first day, May 3, we used a backhoe and manual Labor to straighten the log bridge that connects the central plaza to the first and second sites, replaced the planks, and installed anti-slip wire mesh on the planks.
The women also helped by coating the other long boards with preservative and transporting them to the training hut.

この日は、宮里連盟長、伊敷理事長、瓜生夫婦、吉川副理事長、吉元副理事長、町田さん（沖縄１団ボーイ
隊長）、岡田さん（北谷１団ローバー）、宮里さん（北谷１団）、白方さん（沖縄１団カブ隊長）家族３名、伊波亮さん（沖縄スカウトクラブ監事）、玉城譲治さん（沖縄スカウトクラブ副会長）と大勢の方に奉仕して頂きました。
On that day, we had many people who served us, Including Council President Mr. Miyazato, Council Chairman Mr. Ishiki, Vice Council Chairman Mr. Yoshikawa, Vice Council Chairman Mr. Yoshimoto, Uriu (Scout Group Chatan 1 comittee chairman), Ms.Miyazato (Scout Group Chatan 1), Mrs. Shirakata (Cubmaster, Pack Okinawa 1) and her 3 family members, Mr.Okada (Rover Scout, Rover Crew Chatan 1), Mr. Ryo Iha （Okinawa Scout Club Auditor）and Mr. Joji Tamashiro （Okinawa Scout Club Vice Chairman）.


第２日目の５月４日（土）は、会議棟のテーブルのベニヤ板の張り替え作業、ユンボでの砂の積み上げ作業
をしました。
On the second day, May 4 (Sun), we replaced the plywood on the tables in the conference hut and used a backhoe to pile up sand.
テーブルのベニヤ板の張り替え作業では、資材を研修棟に運び入れ、防腐剤を塗り、２✕４の補強材を入れ、
コートベニヤ板を貼付けました。
To replace the plywood on the tables, the materials were brought into the training building, coated with a preservative, inserted 2x4 reinforcement material, and then coated plywood was attached.

ユンボでの砂の積み上げ作業では、折り重なっった流木をユンボで中央広場に引き上げ、梅雨に向けてそこに流木のダムが出来ないようにしました。
When piling up sand with a backhoe, workers used the backhoe to pull up piled-up driftwood into the central plaza, preventing a driftwood dam from forming there ahead of the rainy season.

午後からは参加者が二人だけとなったのと、５日から雨との予報もあり、５日、６日の作業を断念し、１４時には野営場を引き上げました。
By the afternoon of that day, there were only two participants left, and with rain forecast for the 5th, we decided to give up on work on the 5th and 6th and left the campground at 2 p.m..
今回、作業奉仕された方々に感謝致します。

能登半島地震被災地支援事業に参加して

日本連盟からの呼びかけで2025年3月20日（木）～3月23日（日）の間、石川県珠洲市の地震・豪雨被災地支援事業に各地ローバースカウト40名と一緒に参加してきました。


同市は17NSJの開催地で中学1年の時に参加したので少しでも恩返しができればと思い今回参加しました。参加費用は全て自己負担です。
珠洲市は能登半島地震（2024年1月1日）と豪雨（2024年9月21日～23日）により大変大きな被害を受けており、現地入りして復興が進展していない状況に驚きました。
またボランティア支援者の滞在等受け入れできる状態ではないため金沢市からバスで往復約7時間かけて移動しなければならいので作業時間が十分とれず、復興が遅れる要因ともなっています。
作業内容としては１０：００現地入りして、泥の掻き出し、家具類の清掃、廃棄物の処理等をして１６：００移動です。
　実際には機械などでは対応ができず人手を要する作業がほとんどのため、多くのボランティアが必要でまだ時間がかかりそうです。
今回の支援事業に参加して以下の点について考えさせられました。
（１）災害を他人ごとでなく自分ごととして捉えること。
（２）自分の住む地域でいつ災害が起きても適切な行動ができるようにすること
（３）災害報道があった場合、自分に何ができるかを考えること。
（４）災害から時間が経過しても被災地に関心を寄せ続けること。
（５）スカウトとして「そなえよつねに」「いつも他の人々を助けます」の精神を大事にすること。

  

５月２日（金）、岡田匡平さん（北谷１団ローバー）は、ユンボを源河野営場敷地内に搬入がてら、ユンボで資材の一部を中央広場まで運ぶ作業をしました。
On Friday, May 2nd, Kyohei Okada (Rover Crew Chatan 1) brought a backhoe into the grounds of the Genka Campground and used it to carry some of the materials to the central plaza.

岡田さんは「中央広場から加工場まではユンボが入れないのでマンパワーになります。
1日でも作業参加可能な方は、参加協力をよろしくお願い致します。」と協力を呼びかけて述べています。
Okada-san is calling for cooperation, saying, "I can't transport the backhoe from the central plaza to the workshop, so we need manpower.
If anyone is able to help with the work even for just one day, please do join in and help us."  

５月３日（土）、豊見城１団は、玻名城ビーチ（八重瀬町）於いて、「スカウトごみの日2025年」の一環として、アメリカボーイスカウトカブ第1隊とともにビーチ清掃をしました。
On Saturday, May 3rd, Scout Group Tomigusuku 1 cleaned up the beach at Hanashiro Beach (Yaese Town) together with Scouting America Cub Pack 1 as part of "Scouts Trash the Trash Day 2025."


作業の前に先ず、大嶺雅英隊長から、隊長手作りの日英両語のパネルを使った「なぜビーチクリーンをしなければならないのか」についての説明を聞きました。
Before starting work, scouts listened to a lecture by Cub Master Mr. Masahide Omine, who gave them an explanation of "why we need to clean up the beach" using his handmade panels written in both Japanese and English.

その後、スカウトたちは横一列に並んでゴミを拾いながらビーチを前進しました。
しかし、ビーチにはゴミはあまり落ちていなくてきれいで、短時間でゴミ拾いを終了することができました。
The Scouts then lined up and moved forward along the beach, picking up trash as they went. The beach was clean with almost no trash on the sand, and the scouts were able to finish picking up trash in a short amount of time.

この日拾ったゴミと一緒に撮った写真は『スカウトゴミ拾いの日２０２５』主催者に送られます。
主催者からは後日参加ワッペンが送られてくることになっています。
Photos taken with the trash picked up on this day will be sent to the organizers of ``Scouts Trash the Trash Day 2025.''
The organizer will send us a participation patch at a later date.

スカウト・トラッシュ・ザ・トラッシュ・デーとは
スカウト・トラッシュ・ザ・トラッシュ・デーは、世界中のスカウトのための国際的な平和の使者プロジェクトで、各スカウトは5月の第1土曜日に友人や家族を連れてきて、それぞれ少なくとも1キロ(2.2ポンド)のゴミを拾うことに挑戦します。
「Scouts Trash the Trash Day」のアイデアは、モンタナ州ヘレナの1206スカウト隊が、スカウトが一年を通して集まって同じ日にジャンボリー・オン・ザ・エア・アンド・ザ・インターネット、ジャンボリー・オン・ザ・トレイル、ツリー・フォー・ザ・ワールド、ワーワールド・ネッカチーフ・デーなどのように同じことをする日が数日あることに気づいたことから生まれました
。しかし、スカウトが一堂に会してコミュニティをきれいにする日はありませんでした。
こうして、スカウトがゴミをゴミ箱に捨てる日が始まりました。
スカウトは、ゴミ拾いの効果を倍増させるために、この奉仕の日にスカウト以外の人を連れてくるよう求められます。

What Scouts Trash the Trash Day ?
Scouts Trash the Trash Day is an international Messengers of Peace project for Scouts around the world, where each Scout is challenged to bring a friend or family member along and pick up at least one Kilo (2.2 pounds) of trash each on the first Saturday in May.
The idea for Scouts Trash the Trash Day came from the scouts of Troop 1206 in Helena, Montana after realizing that there are several days throughout the year that Scouts get together and do the same thing on the same day.
Days like Jamboree on the Air and Internet, Jamboree on the Trail, Trees for the World, World Neckerchief Day, but there was not a day for Scouts to all get together and clean up their communities.
スカウト・トラッシュ・ザ・トラッシュ・デーは、単に地球をきれいにするだけでなく、スカウティングが何であるかを世界に示し、スカウトについて個人を教育し、新しい少年、少女、大人をスカウト運動に勧誘する日です。
Thus Scouts Trash the Trash Day was started. Scouts are Asked to bring a non-scout with them on this day of service in order to double the impact of their trash cleaning effort.
Scouts Trash the Trash Day is about More than just cleaning our planet, it is a day to show the world what Scouting is about, educate individuals about Scouting and recruit new boys, girls and adults into the Scouting movement.

SAJは、豊見城1団の日英文チラシを持参し、下記の通り実施する旨案内した。
行事名：ビーチ清掃、浜辺の生き物観察＆水遊び
開催趣旨：この行事は、5月の第1土曜日に世界中のスカウトのための国際的な平和のメッセンジャープロジェ
クトの「Scouts Trash the trash（スカウトのゴミの日）」の一環として、アメリカボーイスカウトともに、ボーイスカウト豊見城１団の団行事として開催する。
また、せっかくのビーチでの行事なので、「海辺の生き物観察＆水遊び」として潮干狩り、水遊びも併せて行う。
ビーチ清掃では、各スカウトは友人や家族を連れてそれぞれ少なくとも1キロ(2.2ポンド)のゴミを拾うように求
められる。

2.Scouts Trash the trash
SAJ brought along a flyer in both Japanese and English for Scout Group Tomigusuku Tomigusuku 1 and explained
that the event would be held as follows:
Event name: Beach cleanup, observing beach creatures & playing in the water
Purpose : This event is held on as part of the "Scouts Trash the trash" which is held first Saturday of Mayevent
of the International Messenger of Peace Project for scouts around the world, and is held as a event by the Scout
Group Tomigusuku 1 and Scouting America Pack 1 Also, since this is an event held on the beach, Beach cleanup,
observing beach creatures & playing in the water will also be included as part of the "observing beach creatures"
program.
For the beach cleanup, each Scout is asked to bring along a friend or family member to pick up at least 1 kilogram
(2.2pounds) of trash each.

４月２８日（月）、２９日（火）、伊敷理事長は２７日（日）に源河野営場へ搬入された杉足場板４０枚とコートベニヤ４枚への防腐剤塗布作業を単独で行いました。
On April 28 (mon) and April 29 (Tue), Council Chairman Mr. Ishiki worked alone to apply preservative to 40 cedar scaffolding boards and 4 coated plywood sheets that were delivered to Genka Campground on 27(Sun).

２８日、源河は昨日大雨で研修棟の雨漏りに苦慮しましたが、２９日は快晴仕事がはかどったそうです。
On the 28th, heavy rain caused problems for Genka, including leaks in the training building, but on the 29th the weather was clear and work progressed well.

伊敷理事長は、「週末の５月３日（土）から、資材の搬入と橋の工事と会議棟のテーブルベニヤ板張り替えを予定しています。また、ユンボもお願いしていますが、どうしてもマンパワーが必要です。１日でもかまわないです。ご協力をお願いします。」と呼びかけています。
Chairman Ishiki says, "Starting this weekend, Saturday, May 3rd, we plan to bring in materials, start construction on the bridge, and replace the plywood on the tables in the meeting hut. We've also asked for a backhoe, but we really need manpower. Even one day will do. We appreciate your cooperation."  

スカウティングアメリカ極東連盟OAアチュパテウニーロッジは、新たに設立された各地区に対応するOAチャプターの名称変更のため、各地区ごとに以下の通りZOOMで開催しました。
①フェニックス地区：４月２２日（火）
②パシフィックリム地区：４月２３日（水）
③沖縄・カンボジア・インド・インドネシア・マレーシア・ネパール・シンガポール・タイ国・ベトナムを管轄するガイディングコンパス地区：４月２７日（日）、２０：００（日本時間）開催

ＳＡＪ沖縄県連盟からは、中井沖縄県連盟評議員がOA正会員としてガイディングコンパス地区の会議に参加しました。
この日の議題は以下の通りでした。
１．新チャプター（分会）名称について
ガイディングコンパス地区のチャプター名称は、これまで通りアワニコチャプターし、火の最高司令官の承認を得ることが決定されました。

ボーイスカウト沖縄１団カブ隊は、４月２０日（日）泡瀬公民館でミニゲームや宝探しをしました！


スカウトたちはまずはゲーム。
組対抗で得点を競いました。
スカウトたちがゲームを楽しんでる間、保護者達はこっそり宝探しの下準備をしました。植物の中に宝物を置いていきました、下の写真の〇の中に３つ以上隠れてます。離れると意外と見つけづらいかも・・・。

いよいよ宝探し「ポケモンを探しに行こう！」と言われて俄然やる気が出るカブたち。
見つけても、声に出さず指も指さずに隠れてるポケモンを数えます。
じっくりと時間をかけて探すスカウトたち。何度か探して答え合わせ。（何回か数えると、数が変わるのは不思議ですよね）
その後はスカウト同士で隠して探したりもしました！

最後に、新しくカブになったスカウトの入隊式もありました！
場所を貸してくださった泡瀬公民館の皆さま、ありがとうございました！この日は雨でしたが、安心して活動することができました。
準備をしてくださった指導者の方々もありがとうございました！次の活動も楽しみにしているようです。  

４月２７日（日）、源河野営場への資材（デン柱８本積、杉材足場板と会議棟テーブル用コートベニヤ板）の搬入が実施され、そのレポートが送られてきましたので以下にご紹介します。
On April 27 (sat), materials (8 utility poles, cedar scaffolding boards, and coated plywood for the conference room tables) were delivered to the Genka Campground, and a report on the delivery was sent to us,which we introduce below.


伊敷理事長は、４トンユニックトラックをレンタルして、９時に与那原１団倉庫から８本の電柱を積み込み、１１時にはメイクマン名護店で４０枚の杉足場板とテーブル用のコート済みベニヤ版を積載して１２時に源河野営場に到着し、これらを搬入しました。
Council chairman Mr. Motohide Ishiki rented a 4-ton truck with a crane and loaded 8 utility poles from Scout Group Yonabaru 1 warehouse at 9am, then loaded cedar scaffolding boards, and coated plywood for the conference room tables at Makeman Nago store at 11am, arriving at the Genka Campground at 12pm.

この日は沖縄伝統行事のウシーミー期間中だあったことや、入団式等団行事と重なったためか参加者は、伊敷理事長、吉川進副理事長、伊波亮沖縄1団育成会長・沖縄スカウトクラブ監事、宇良あんぬ豊見城1団ビーバー副長・沖縄スカウトクラブ会員の４名でした。
Perhaps because the day fell during the traditional Okinawan event, Ushi-mee, and overlapped with group events such as the induction ceremony, only 4 person Mr. Ishiki (Councilchairman), Mr. Susumu Yoshikawa (Council vice chairman), Mr. Ryo Iha (Scout Group Okinawa 1 Charter Committee chairman/Scout Clab auditor) and Ms. Annu Ura (Corrony Tomigusuku 1 Assistant Beaver master/Okinawa Scout Club member) attended.

上記４名で杉材足場板４０枚を駐車場から資材置場まで１０往復して運び頑張ったそうです。
The four of them carried 40 cedar scaffolding boards from the parking lot to the storage area, making 10 trips.

吉川副理事長は「作業は、まだ沢山残っているそうで、多くの皆さんの協力が必要ですので、次の呼び掛けの時は、是非とも協力お願いします。」と呼びかけています。
Mr. Yoshikawa says, "There is still a lot of work left to do, so we need everyone's help, so please help us out the next time we make an appeal."

なお、伊敷理事長は、研修棟に資材搬入後、防腐塗装作業を２９日（火）まで行う予定だそうです。
Mr. Ishiki said that after the materials are delivered to the training building, the anti-corrosive painting work will be carried out by him until the 29th (Tue).
