ボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟

日本オールドスカウトクラブ（以下NOSCと表示）（松平賴武会長）は、５月１５日（木）１５：００より、「第２８回リモート交流会」を開催しました。

今回のゲストは、台湾・馬祖童軍會総幹事の黃玲さん。
演題は「馬祖島のボーイスカウトについて」でした。
黄さんは、先ず、馬祖島に関して、



①位置が中国大陸福建省の近くにあること、
②産業は酒造業であること、
③名所旧跡、
④食べ物等についてパワーポイントを使用して説明・紹介。



そして馬祖島のボーイスカウトについて説明しました。


その後、参加会員全員が近況報告を行いました。
この日の参加者は、国内参加者の他、台湾から中華民国スカウト連盟国際関係委員会李佳恵さんを含む２３名で、沖縄県連盟からは、宮里博史連盟長と中井健沖縄スカウトクラブ会長が参加しました。

最初に発言の指名をされた中井沖縄スカウトクラブ会長は、
①豊見城市教育長の台北市士林中学校の訪台の際、士林中学校の校長先生がスカウト関係者ということで、李佳恵さんが通訳を務められ、士林中学校と豊見城市の中学校との今後の交流の合意がなされ、５月９日（金）には、豊見城中学と士林中学校とでオンライン交流が行われたこと。
②香港ボーイスカウトOBで豊見城1団団委員の陳さんの尽力があって、７月３０日に豊見城市で交流会が開催されること。
③豊見城市では毎年夏休みにハワイに中学生を派遣しているが、中井がBSA極東連盟を通じてハワイのアロハ連盟へ同事業への協力依頼を行ったところ、協力いただけることになったことを報告しました。

続いて、宮里連盟長は、
①アウトドア活動が、個人や様々な団体で実施されていて、ボーイスカウトの特徴と言えなくなっている現在、ボーイスカウトの特徴である国際団体を大いに活用したプログラムを展開することが肝要であること。
②源河野営場の大雨被害状況、修復作業進捗状況の報告をしました。

最後に事務局から６月１６日（月）の年次総会開催の案内がありました。  

伊波亮さん（沖縄1団育成会長・沖縄スカウトクラブ世話人)は、５月１４日（水）、午後から、トーテムポールのイノシシとヤンバルクイナの色塗りをしました。
また、玉城譲治さん（那覇 １６団委員長・沖縄スカウトクラブ副会長）は、中央広場でカットした流木を、以前の薪置場に運び焼却しました。
Mr. Ryo Iha (Scout Group Okinawa 1 Charter Chairman & Okinawa Scout Club Caretaker) painted the wild boar and Okinawa rail on the totem pole in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 14th.
In addition, Mr. Joji Tamashiro (Scout Group Naha 16 Committee chairman & Okinawa Scout Group Vice Chairman) carried the driftwood cut in the central square to the former firewood storage area and incinerated it.

  

ボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟と香港ボーイスカウト新界地区は、「7月２５日（金）から７月３０日（水）の間、香港ボーイスカウトが石垣島と沖縄本島を訪問すること」に関して、５月１２日（月）、日本時間午後８時から、オンライン会議を開催しましたので、以下に報告します。
会議では、日本語、英語、広東語が飛び交い、正に国際会議の様相を呈していました。
The Okinawa Council and the Hong Kong Boy Scouts New Territories Region held an online meeting on May 12 (Mon) from 8pm Japan time to discuss the Hong Kong Boy Scouts' visit to Ishigaki Island and Okinawa Island from July 25(Fri) to 30(Wed).
We would like to report on this below.
The meeting was a truly international one, with Japanese, English and Cantonese being spoken.

２月２１日（金）、沖縄県豊見城市の赤嶺美奈子教育長御一行が、台北市の士林中学校を訪問され、「今後、豊見城市の中学校と台北市の士林中学校との交流を進める方向で双方合意した。」ことが、日本オールドスカウトクラブ会員で中華民国スカウト連盟国際関係委員会李佳恵さんのレポートが本ブログでも紹介されました。

また、赤嶺教育長の台湾士林中学校訪問時に、士林中学校の校長先生がスカウト指導者で、同じくスカウト指導者の李さんが通訳に当たったことも紹介いたしました。

その後、５月１０日（土)、李さんから第1回豊見城中学校・台湾士林中学オンライン交流会が開催された旨の報告がありましたので、以下にご紹介いたします。




５月８日（木）に、台北市士林中学と沖縄豊見城中学の交流が初めて挙行され、士林中学の校長先生がこのことをフェイスブックにアップされてます。
通常は通訳の人が中に入りますが、今回初めて生徒達は英語で交流しました。これは新鮮な体験であり、今後の交流の良い指針になりました。

５月１１日（日）の豊見城1団のカブ・ビーバー隊の活動は、『母の日思い出作り』をしました。
On May 11(San), the Pack Tomigusuku 1 held an activity called "Making Mother's Day Memories."


この日は雨の予報と、活動で手を汚してしまう事を配慮しカブ副長の大嶺宅を活動場所としました。
Considering the weather forecast for rain that day and the fact that we would get our hands dirty for the activity , we decided to hold the activity at the home of Assistant Cubmaster Omine.

スカウトと母親の手形を取ったり、写真を撮ったりする事でスカウトの成長を感じたり、一緒に制作する事で良い思い出作りになりました。
By taking handprints of the scouts and their mothers and taking photos, we were able to see the scouts' growth, and by creating things together we were able to create fond memories.
また、各々アイデアを出してアレンジコラージュを作る事が出来ました。
Also, each child was able to come up with their own ideas and create an arrangement collage.

「母親の良いところ」、「子どもの良いところ」を三つづつ挙げ、メモ用紙に書いて貼って、それを発表し伝えることが出来ました。
They were able to list three good things about being a mother and three good things about their children, write them down on pieces of memo paper, stick them up, and then present and communicate these things.
「ママの良いところどこだっけ？三つも？」「えっ！三つ以上あるでしょう？」と会話しながら楽しみました。お互いに褒めあい、照れながらも笑顔で和気あいあいとした集会となりました。
We had fun chatting, saying things like, "What are the good things about Mom? Three things?" and "What! There must be more than three?"Everyone praised each other and, although a little embarrassed, they all smiled and enjoyed the meeting in a friendly atmosphere.  

伊敷元秀理事長は、５月９日（金）、１０日（土）の２日間、源河野営場整備作業を実施しましたが、そのレポートが参りましたので、以下にご紹介いたします。
Council Chairman Mr. Ishiki carried out maintenance work at the Genka Campground for two days on May 9 (Fri) and 10 (Sat).
The report has arrived, and we would like to introduce it below.


５月９日（金）
朝から源河野営場入りしています。
先日、中央広場に上げた流木のカットと電柱の片付けを予定しておりましたが、途中でエンジン付きのチェーンソーのチェーンがダメになり、電動チェーンソーを使いましたが、10cmぐらいの太さしか切れず、2／3をカットするにとどまりました。
May 9(Fri)
I have been at the Genkawa Campground since the morning of Friday, May 9th. I was planning to cut the driftwood that I had put up in the central square the other day and take down the electric poles. However, the chain of the engine chain saw broke midway, so I used an electric chain saw, but it only managed to cut about 10cm thick, so I was only able to cut 2/3 of the tree.

電柱も短い物は会議棟に片付けましたが、６ｍの電柱は二人でも持てず、６本の電柱はチェーンで巻いて固定しました。
The shorter utility poles were moved to the conference hut, but even two people could not lift the 6-meter poles, so the six poles were secured in place by wrapping them in chains.

５月１０日（土）　
８：５０現在源河野営場は明方の豪雨で川の水かさが増し、野営場に入れず中は確認出来ませんでしたが、川の地形は変わらず安堵しています。
May 10 (Sat)
As of 8:50am on May 10 (Sat), the water level at the Genka River has risen due to heavy rainfall in the early hours of the morning, and I was unable to enter the campground to see what is inside, but I was relieved to see that the river's topography has not changed.
I'm going home today.

これからの梅雨に入り、台風も心配される事から早めにこれらを片付けたいと考えております。
つきましては、再度、多くの方々の協力を頂きたくお願い致します。
As the rainy season is coming up and I am worried about a typhoon approaching, I would like to get these things cleared away as soon as possible.

アメリカボーイスカウト極東連盟案内羅針盤地区は、５月９日（金）、午後５時より、ロッカー下士官クラブ花火パテオ（嘉手納基地）において、地区指導者懇親会を開催しました。
The Guiding Compass District held a Leaders Happy Hour Mixer on Friday, May 9th from 5pm at Hannabi’s Patio, Kadena Air Base, Rocker NCO Club.


この日の開催趣旨は、「沖縄のスカウティングを前進させるために、リーダーと一緒に楽しいコミュニティと素晴らしい会話の夜を過ごすこと。」があげられ、地区によって美味しい前菜とソフトドリンクが無料で提供されただけでなく、希望者には有料でアルコール飲料が提供されました。
The purpose of the event was to "spend an evening of fun, community and great conversation with leaders to advance Scouting in Okinawa.
" Not only did the district provide delicious appetizers and soft drinks for free, but alcoholic drinks were also available for a fee to those who requested them.

この日はアルコール飲料摂取OKのため、参加者は成人に限定され、制服着用不可でリラックスして懇親を深めました。
Alcohol consumption was permitted on this day, so participants were limited to adults and uniforms were not permitted, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere and socializing.
そのため、堅苦しいセレモニーはありませんでしたが、地区功労賞等の地区功労賞２名、シルバーシーサー章４名、優秀隊長賞２名の表彰式は行われました。
Therefore, there was no formal ceremony, but an awards ceremony was held for two recipients of the District Merit Award, four recipients of the Silver Shisa Award, and two recipients of the Outstanding Unit Leader Award.

沖縄側からは、中井健県連評議員・豊見城1団委員長、沖縄スカウトクラブ会長、玉城譲治県連評議員・那覇16団委員長、沖縄スカウトクラブ副会長、大嶺豊見城1団ビーバー隊長、松川豊見城1団カブ隊長、宇良豊見城1団ビーバー副長・沖縄スカウトクラブ会員が参加しました。

香港ボーイスカウト一行約３０名が、７月２５日（金）から７月３０日（水）の間、石垣島と沖縄本島を訪問するに当たって、石垣島と沖縄本島で沖縄のボーイスカウトと交流会を行いたいとの要望があります。
A group of about 30 Boy Scouts from Hong Kong will be visiting Ishigaki Island and Okinawa Island from July 25 (Fri)　to July 30 (Wed), and they would like to hold an exchange meeting with the Okinawan scouts on Ishigaki Island and Okinawa Island.
それに伴い、ボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟は、５月７日（水）、１９：００よりGoogle Meetを使用して、香港・沖縄スカウト交流会準備オンライン会議を開催しましたので、以下に紹介します。
In response to this, the Okinawa Council held an online meeting to prepare for the Hong Kong-Okinawa Scout Exchange Event using Google Meet from 7:00 p.m. on May 7（Wed).

① 交流会開催日時、場所について
７月３０日（水）１２：００～１４：００に、豊見城市立中央公民館で開催することが決定された。
① Date, time and location of the exchange meeting
It has been decided that the event will be held on July 30 (Wed) from 12:00 to 14:00 at Tomigusuku City Central Community Center.
② 参加対象について
香港側の参加者は、ベンチャー・ローバーだが、沖縄側はベンチャー・ローバーに限定せず、ボーイの参加も認めることになった。
これを踏まえ、各団に参加呼びかけをすることになった。
② Participants
The participants from Hong Kong will be Ventures & Rovers, but the Okinawan side will not be limited to Ventures & Rovers, and participation by boys will also be allowed.
③プログラムについて
プログラムは参加団代表が集まって決定することになったが、松本与那原１団カブ副長にサンシン演奏を、豊見城１団指導者に獅子舞、中井志月ベンチャー隊員が部長を務める沖縄尚学高校ハンドベル部に演奏を、ジャンボリー参加者に空手やエイサーを、また香港サイドにも何か出し物を提供するよう打診・依頼することになった。
③ The programs
The program was to be decided by the representatives of the participating units.
We will request to Mr. Matsumoto (Pack Yonabaru 1 Assistant Cub Master) to play sanshin, Leaders for Scout Group Tomigusuku 1 to perform lion dancing, the Okinawa Shogaku Senior High Scool handbell club which is led by Shizuki Nakai (Scout of Venturer Crew Timigusuku 1) play music, he jamboree participants perform Karate and Eisat, and we also will request to the Hong Kong side to provide some kind of performance.
④ 司会について
那覇１６団ローバーに日本側の司会を依頼、また香港サイドからも人選していただき、ペアで司会を務めてもらうことになった。
④ MC
We will ask Rover of the Rover Crew Naha 16 to be the MC for the Japanese side. We also asked someone from Hong
Kong side to be the MC in pairs.
⑤ 昼食について
陳さんが昨年、豊見城１団の「流しソーメン＆かき氷大会」に参加した経験から、これを香港サイドに提供したいとの要望がありこれが了承された。
これにともない、豊見城市立中央公民館調理実習の仮予約が済まされたことが報告された。
なお、これだけでは少ないのではないかということで、沖縄側参加団に、おにぎり・助六・サンドウィッチ・天ぷら・オードブル等の軽食を参加団からの参加者数X2を持ち寄ってもらうことになった。
⑤ Lunch
Based on Mr Chan's experience participating in Scout Group Tomigusuku 1 "Nagashi Somen (Sliding Noodles) & Shaved
Ice" last year, he wanted to offer it to the Hong Kong side, and this was approved.
In conjunction with this, it was reported that tentative reservations had been made for a cooking class at Tomigusuku City Central Community Center.
However, as it seemed that this amount was not enough,
it was decided that the Okinawan participants should bring twice the amount of light snacks as the number of participants in their group, such as rice balls, sushis, sandwiches, tempura, and hors d'oeuvres.
⑥ BSAの参加について
GOSC５月度会議において、案内しているが参加希望隊があるかどうか確認することになった。

次回から本会議へ石垣1団の参加を求めることになった。

第５１回那覇ハーリー（主催：那覇ハーリー実行委員会）が、５月３日（土）から５日（月）までの３日間、那覇新港埠頭において開催され、加賀与那原１団ベンチャー隊長が乗組員代表を務め、数名のボーイスカウト指導者有志が黄色の久米の爬龍船に乗務し「御願バーリー」と「本バーリー」において乗組員としての重責を果たしました。


「御願バーリー」は、５日（月）、午後４時４０分より行われ、黒の泊、黄色の久米、緑の那覇の３艘の爬龍船が、古式ゆかしい「ハーリー歌」に合わせてゆっくりと港内を２周し、泊、久米、那覇３町のそれぞれの人々の健康と繁栄を祈願しました。
The 51st Naha Dragon Boat Festival was held May 03(Sati) to 05 (Mon) at Naha New Port Wharf. Boy Scouts played heavy responsibilities in "the ritual race and the official race".
Mr. Kaga Venture Crew Yonabaru 1　advisor served as the dragon boat crew representative, and several volunteer Boy Scout leaders served on board the yellow Kume dragon boat and fulfilled the important responsibilities of being crew members in the "Ugan Bali" and "Hon Bali.


「御願バーリー」の後、泊、久米、那覇３町の名誉をかけた「本バーリー」が繰り広げられ、泊チームが１位となり、ボーイスカウトチームが乗船した黄色の久米の爬龍船は残念ながら３位に終わりました。
"The ritual race was done in order to pray for people’s health and prosperity of the nation. After the ritual race, the official race was held.
In the official race, the Boy Scouts Team (the Yellow Dragon Boat) was unfortunately 3rd place.   

ボーイスカウト豊見城1団は、沖縄県や鹿児島県の奄美群島で旧暦３月３日に行われる伝統行事である「ハ
マウイ （浜下り）」を行い、浜辺の生き物の観察しています。
Scout Group Tomigusuku 1 observes beach creatures during Hamaui, a traditional event held on March 3rd of the lunar calendar in Okinawa Prefecture and the Amami Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture.


３月３日は日本では女の子の節句「ひな祭り」で、一般的なひな祭りは、ひな人形を飾り、ひなあられや菱餅、
はまぐりのお吸い物やちらし寿司などを食べる行事で、どちらかというと「屋内」の行事ですが、浜下りはまったく違って、そもそも「その日には家にいてはならない」ことになっていて、浜下りの名前の通り「浜」、つまりは「海岸」に出る日となっています。
March 3rd is Hinamatsuri, a girls' festival in Japan, and a typical Hinamatsuri is an indoor event where people Decorate dolls and eat Hina Arare, Hishi Mochi, clam soup, and chirashi sushi. However, Hamaui is completely different. It is a day when people should not stay at home, and just as the name Hamaui suggests, it is a day when you they go to the beach, or the coast.

浜下りが行われる旧暦３月３日は、常に干満の差が1年間で最も大きい大潮になり、この日の干潮時には、海
浜や干瀬が最も広がるため、海岸に出かけて魚貝類を捕ったり海草を採り、また、ご馳走を持って（あるいは神
仏に供えて）、海浜に出かけ、（特に女性が）手足を海水に浸して身を清めて健康を祈願するという風習です。
しかし、現在では「身を清める」という意味合いは薄れていて浜に遊びに行き潮干狩りを楽しむ日という認識の
方も増えています。
Hamaui is held on the 3rd of March on the lunar calendar, which always falls on the spring tide, when the difference between high and low tide is the greatest for the year.
At low tide on this day, the beach and tidal reefs are at their widest, so people go to the coast to catch fish and shellfish, gather seaweed, and take some food (or offer it to the gods and Buddha) to the beach, where they (especially women) immerse their hands and feet in seawater to purify themselves and pray for good health.
Nowadays, the meaning of "purifying the body" has faded, and more and more people see it as a day to go to the beach
and enjoy clam digging.

Scout Group Tomigusuku 1 holds "Hamaui" every year, providing the scouts with the opportunity to experience various Okinawan traditional events, customs, and traditional performing arts in order to help them become aware of their identity as Okinawans and cultivate a love for their hometown.
今年の旧暦３月３日 は３月３１日（月）でしたので、４月にハマウイを行う計画をしていましたが、毎週末は雨だったため実施できず断念か・・・と思っていたところ、５月３日（土）にビーチ清掃を行うことになったので、せっかくビーチに行くので、ビーチ清掃終了後に、遅ればせながらアメリカボーイスカウトとともにハマウイとして、「浜辺の生き物観察＆水遊び」を行いました。
This year, the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar was on Monday, March 31, so we were planing to hold Hamaui in April. However, it rained every weekend, so we couldn't hold it and we thought we had to give up.
However, since we were planning to do a beach cleanup on Saturday, May 3rd, and since we were going to the beach anyway, we decided to do Observing beach creatures and playing in the water was held as Hamaui with the Scouting America after the beach cleanup was finished.

ビーチ清掃を終えたスカウトたちは、海の安全対策としてライフジャケットを着けて、潮干狩りに臨みました。

After cleaning the beach, the scouts put on life jackets as a safety precaution at sea and went clamming.
この日スカウトのおばあちゃんが「もずくてんぷら」と「サーターアンダギー」を作って持ってきてくださったので、ビーチ清掃後、スカウトたちは、それと団で準備した経口補水液をいただき、休息をとりました。
On this day, one of the scouts' grandmothers brought over some prepared "mozuku tempura" and "Okinawan donuts", so after cleaning up the beach, the scouts were able to rest while enjoying these and the oral rehydration solution that the group had prepared.
この日は、曇りで２５℃と快適な気温で、スカウトたちはイノーで小魚や、貝、イソギンチャク、クラゲ、なまこ等の浜辺の生き物観察を楽しみました。
It was a cloudy day with a comfortable temperature of 25°C, and the scouts enjoyed observing beach creatures such as small fish, shells, sea anemones, jellyfish, and sea cucumbers on the beach and rocky shorelines.
