源河野営場復旧作業実施Genka Campground restoration work carried out
１月２０日（月）～２２日（水）の玉城譲治源河野営場長兼沖縄スカウトクラブ副会長の作業に加え、１月２２日（水）、加賀哲男与那原１団ベンチャー隊長が、昨年１１
月の豪雨後の源河野営場再度復旧作業（流木の焼却作業）を実施。その報告が参りましたので以下にご紹介します。
In addition to the work carried out by Mr. Joji Tamashiro (the ranger at the Genka Campground and vice president of the Okinawa Scout Club) from January 20 (Mon) to 22 (Wed), Mr.Tetsuo Kaga (the venture advisor of the Crew Yonabaru 1), also carried out restoration work (burning driftwood) at the Genka Campground on January 22 (Wed).
The report on this work has arrived and is presented below.
玉城野営場長報告
１月２０日に積み上げた流木・倒木の焼却を始めました。
中央広場前の流木やカットした倒木の山はほとんど片づけました。
一人でもコツコツやれば、別の個所の物も片付くでしょう。
トーテムポールの真向かいにある右側の桜は５分咲きになっていますが、真ん中と左側の桜はわずかしか咲いていません。
例年は３本同時に咲いていたのに・・・、これも１１月の豪雨の影響だと思われます。

I started burning the piles of driftwood and fallen trees on Jan. 20th.
I have cleared away most of the piles of driftwood and cut fallen trees in front of the central square.
I work hard on my own, I'm sure I can tidy up other areas as well.
Normally, all three trees bloom at the same time, but this is probably due to the heavy rains in November.
The cherry blossom on the right, directly opposite the totem pole, is about 50% in bloom, but the cherry blossoms in the middle and on the left are only slightly in bloom.

本日、焼却を完遂することはできませんでした。焼却した流木・倒木を広げて水で消火しました。
また、次回行いたいと思います。
ところで、今回BPサイトで初めてマングースを見ました。
また、別の個体を下流の橋の袂で見ました。

We were unable to complete the incineration today.
The burned driftwood and fallen trees were spread out and the fire was put out with water.
I would like to do it again next time.
By the way, this time it was the first time I saw a mongoose at the BP site. I also saw another one
downstream near the bridge.
