源河野営場の草刈作業を行いました We cut the grass at Genka Camp Ground
沖縄スカウトクラブ有志は、５月５日（日）開催のトーテムポールお披露目式・祝賀会に備えて、４月２７日(土)、源河野営場の草刈と、窪みへの土砂投入作業を行いました。
On April 27 (Sat), Okinawa Scout Club volunteers cut grass at Genka Camp Ground and poured earth and sand into the depression in preparation for the totem pole unveiling ceremony and celebration held on May 5 (Sun).
一方、当初予定していたトーテムポールの銘板土台の塗装作業はセメントの乾き具合が不十分で、まだペンキ塗りには早く、翌日に延期されました。
この日草刈をできたのは、中央広場、ＢＰサイトのみでした。
Meanwhile, the originally scheduled painting work on the base of the totem pole's plateｓ were postponed until the next day because the cement was not dry enough and it was too early to paint.
The only areas where grass could be cut that day were the central plaza and the BP site.
