３月１６日（日）午前、豊見城１団ビーバー・カブ隊は、南山釣り堀（糸満市大里）に於いて魚釣りをしました。
On the morning of March 16 (Sun), the Beavers & Cubs of Pack Tomigusuku enjoied fishing at Nanzan Fishing Pond (Ozato, Itoman City).


当初、この日は北名城ビーチで「海の生き物観察」をする予定でしたが、雨模様で強風が吹き気温が下がる天気予報だったため、室内釣り堀で活動を行うことになったものです。
Originally, the plan for that day was to observe marine life at Kitanashiro Beach, but the weather forecast called for rain, strong winds and dropping temperatures, so we decided to carry out our activities at the indoor fishing pond.

スカウト達は、釣り堀の叔父さんから餌の付け方を教えてもらい、餌のうどんを釣り堀につけて釣を始めました。
The scouts were taught how to attach bait to the fish by the uncle who runs the fishing pond, and they began fishing to attaching the udon noodles on the fishing hooks as bait into the pond.

事前にトライアルでここを訪れた家族によると、その時は一匹も釣れなかったそうですが、この日は全員が複数匹の鯉を釣り上げることができました。
According to a family who had visited here previously for a trial, they hadn't caught no fish then, but on this day everyone could catch multiple carp.

最高の釣果を挙げたのは女子カブスカウトで、１５匹ほど釣り上げました。
The best catch was made by a female Cub Scout, who caught about 15 fish.
スカウトたちは最後に釣り堀の叔父さんからお土産のおやつをいただいて大喜びでした。
At the end of the event, the scouts were delighted to receive souvenir snacks from the uncle who runs the fishing pond.
