源河野営場足場板引上作業実施Scaffolding board raising work carried out

玉城譲治源河野営場長が、６月１０日（火）の源河野営場の点検を受けて、川底に沈んでいる足場板を、６月１１日（水）に沖縄スカウトクラブ世話人の伊波亮さんとともに行いました。引き上げた旨のレポートを寄せましたので、以下にご紹介いたします。
Following an inspection of the Genkawa Campsite on June 10 (Tue), by Mr. Joji Tamashiro, the Genka Campground ranger, has submitted a report stating that the scaffolding boards that had sunk to the bottom of the river were pulled up on June 11 (Wed) with Mr. Iha Okinawa Scout Club staff. We would like to introduce this report to you below.


足場板引き上げ作業は、伊波さんが水中に潜って足場板の先端の隙間にパラシュートロープを結び、軽トラで引っ張りあげました。
Mr. Iha dived underwater to pull up the scaffolding, tied a parachute rope to the gap at the end of the board, and pulled it up using a light truck.

トイレから川に下りるスロープの右端は以前から水が流れた谷間になっていて、四駆軽トラでも滑ってしまうので、足場板を３枚置いて、ようやく引き上げました。
The right end of the slope leading down from the toilets to the river was a ravine where water had flowed for a long time, and even a light four-wheel drive truck would have been slippery, so we placed three scaffolding boards and were finally able to pull ourselves up.
