BSA極東連盟アジア中央地区から、５月２７日（月）、那覇市泊の外人墓地で戦没者追悼式式典で奉仕をした旨の報告がありましたので、以下に紹介いたします。
The Asia Central District, Far East Council, BSA reported that they served at the war dead memorial ceremony at the International Cemetery in Tomari, Naha City on Monday, May 27th. We would like to introduce this report below.
Scouts from Crew 28, Troop 102B, Troop 102G , Troop 110B, Troop 110G, Pack 1, Pack 102 and Pack 110 particpated in the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Tomari International Cemetery in Naha, Okinawa.
This honored fallen US Military Service Members, Scouts placed flags on graves, coordinated the flag ceremony, and laid flowers during the ceremony. Great Job Scouts !
沖縄那覇市泊の外人墓地での戦没者追悼記念日式典式に於いて、ベンチャー２８隊、スカウツＢＳＡ１０２隊Ｂ、１１０隊G、カブ１０２隊。カブ１隊のスカウトが、国旗掲揚式をコーディネートし、戦没米軍戦没者を称え、また、墓に米国旗を掲げ、献花しました。
The Scouts did a great job honoring those that gave their life for our country. They placed flags on all the graves of the Tomari International Cemetery. There were some graves as old as 1853. Great job Scouts!
スカウトたちは、アメリカのために命を捧げた人たちを称える素晴らしい仕事をしました。 なお、スカウトたちは、米兵戦没者だけでなく、国際墓地内のすべての墓に旗を掲げました。
その中には、ペリー提督が１８５３年浦賀に行く前に琉球に寄った際に埋葬された水兵の墓もいくつかありました。
